It is a well known fact that regular exercise is very important for keeping fit and staying healthy. With that said, it should come as no surprise that you can improve your sex life with exercise! 1. Setting goals: First you will need to write down a list of short and long term goals. Make sure that they are reasonable and obtainable for your level of experience. Meeting your short term goals will do wonders for your self-esteem as well as keeping you motivated to stay with it.

2. Cardio: Typically the simplest exercise for all of us to do. Walking, riding a bike and/or swimming are just a few examples of great cardio exercises that you could do just about anywhere. As a rule, 30-60 minutes a day, three to four days a week is perfect. Remember to not over due it; more is not always better.

3. Muscular Endurance: Great sex requires some muscular endurance. This means lifting lighter weights for more repetitions. This is perfect for toning and conditioning your body which in turn can lead to longer lasting sex.

4. Muscular Strength: Lifting heavier weights for fewer repetitions will get the job done here. During sex you'll have muscles contracting like crazy no matter what position you find yourself in so it helps to be in shape to ward off those nasty muscle cramps that may occur from time to time.

5. Flexibility: Being flexible has many benefits in the bedroom. If your exercise routine lacks stretching you are selling yourself short. Before, during and after your exercising routine you should be stretching. You will reap the benefits of being flexible when trying out new positions. Yoga is highly recommended.

Keep in mind that both exercise as well as sex have been shown to help reduce stress so doing both on a regular basis should help to keep you relaxed and in good spirits. Low sex drive is often caused by stress and fatigue so remember that combined with a healthy lifestyle, exercise creates sexual desire. The better you look and feel the happier you and your partner will be.
